im thinkin about going to an art school for college.
ive never heard of Davis, but could you briefly describe it in your spare time?

UC Davis is (University of California, Davis) is not really an art school. Its more like a general 5 year college. A lot of the focus at the college is on bio and other majors.

The art dept is relatively small (however the design department is actually quite populous.)

I myself am not an art major however I did take photography classes in the art dept. There is no real "emphasis" for photography in the art dept, so if that's what you want to concentrate on I probably would not suggest UC Davis.
